Dr. Vusal Mammadov

About the doctor

Dr. Vusal Mammadov is an obstetrician-gynaecologist and surgeon with long experience in women's health. His main work covers modern treatment of gynaecological diseases, female infertility and the care of high-risk pregnancies.

He graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University and then spent four years in St. Petersburg, where he completed a clinical residency and postgraduate training in gynaecological oncology.

Most of his operations are performed laparoscopically or hysteroscopically, through small incisions or without any incision at all. He also performs vaginal reconstructive surgery, natural deliveries and caesarean sections.

He has headed a regional perinatal centre and obstetric departments, and has worked for about ten years at a large private multi-profile hospital in Baku.
