1. Our role
MedAzerbaijan is a medical travel coordinator. We help patients from abroad contact licensed clinics and resorts in Azerbaijan and organise the practical side of the trip.
We are not a medical institution. We do not diagnose, prescribe or provide treatment, and we do not make medical decisions on your behalf.
2. Information on the website
Information on the website is general and does not replace a consultation with a doctor. Durations, programmes and other figures are typical examples. The exact plan for each patient is prepared by the treating doctor.
In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately and do not wait for a reply from us.
3. Treatment plans and estimates
A treatment plan is prepared by a doctor on the basis of the documents you provide. It is preliminary until the doctor has examined you.
An estimate shows the expected costs of treatment, accommodation and other services. After the examination the doctor may recommend a different approach. In that case we explain the changes and update the estimate before anything new is done.
The decision to receive treatment is always yours.
4. Medical services
Medical services are provided by clinics and resorts under their own licences and rules. The clinic is responsible for the medical care it provides.
5. Payment, changes and cancellation
The payment procedure, as well as the conditions for changing or cancelling a trip, are set out in the estimate or agreement that you receive before travelling. Please read them carefully before you confirm the trip.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate medical information.
- Follow the entry and stay rules of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including visa and registration requirements.
- Follow the recommendations of the treating doctor.
- Tell your coordinator about any changes in your health or plans as early as possible.
7. Liability
We are responsible for the coordination services we provide. We are not responsible for medical decisions or results of treatment, which depend on many factors and cannot be guaranteed by anyone.
We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as flight cancellations, natural events or decisions of state authorities.
8. Website content
Texts, design and other materials on the website belong to MedAzerbaijan or are used with permission. They may not be copied for commercial purposes without our written consent.
The website may contain links to other websites, such as official state portals. We are not responsible for their content.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We try to resolve any disagreement through dialogue. If this is not possible, the dispute is considered by the competent courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
