Typical figures. The exact plan is confirmed by the treating doctor after the medical review.

A full body check-up in Azerbaijan brings together laboratory tests, imaging such as MRI and CT, and consultations with specialists in a single planned visit. Most programmes are completed in one or two days. MedAzerbaijan arranges the appointments at licensed clinics so that tests follow one another in a sensible order with little waiting.

We are a coordinator, not a medical institution. Before you travel, we share your history and questions with the clinic, and a doctor suggests which tests are appropriate for you. The programme is confirmed by the doctor after reviewing your documents. At the end of the visit a doctor explains the results, and the written reports are translated for you.

Who this may suit

  • Adults who want a thorough preventive examination
  • People with a family history of heart disease, diabetes or cancer
  • Those with symptoms that have not yet been fully investigated
  • Busy people who prefer to complete all tests in one short trip
  • Patients who would like an independent look at results from earlier examinations

What we can arrange

The list below shows the most common requests. The doctor recommends the right option after reviewing your documents.

01

General check-up programmes

Basic, extended and age-specific programmes combine a physician consultation, blood and urine tests, ECG and ultrasound. The content can be adjusted to your age, sex and family history.

02

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain, spine, joints or abdomen, chosen according to your symptoms or risk factors. It does not use ionising radiation.

03

CT scanning

Computed tomography, including low-dose chest CT or coronary calcium scoring, performed only when the doctor considers it appropriate for you.

04

Laboratory tests

Blood count, biochemistry, hormones, vitamins and, where indicated, tumour markers. Many routine results are available within a day or two.

05

Specialist consultations

Consultations with a cardiologist, gastroenterologist, gynaecologist, urologist or other specialists, with echocardiography or a stress test if needed.

06

Endoscopy

Gastroscopy and colonoscopy, often performed under sedation, can be added to a programme after the doctor confirms they are appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

How should I prepare for the check-up?

Most programmes start in the morning on an empty stomach, so the clinic usually asks you not to eat for 8 to 12 hours beforehand. Some examinations, such as colonoscopy, need special preparation the day before. We send you the clinic instructions in writing before your visit.

What happens if a test shows something abnormal?

The doctor explains the finding, how significant it may be and whether further tests or a specialist consultation are advisable. Additional examinations are arranged only with your agreement, and they can often fit into the same visit. Many findings simply need monitoring by your own doctor at home.

Can I choose which tests are included?

Yes, programmes can be adjusted. You tell us what you would like checked, and the clinic doctor advises which tests are useful for you and which are unnecessary. Some examinations, such as CT with contrast, are done only when they are medically justified.

Will I receive my results in writing?

Yes, you receive the written reports and, where applicable, the images in digital form. We arrange translation into English or Russian so that you can share the results with your doctor at home.

Send your reports and receive a treatment plan
