All-on-4 in Baku is a way to restore all the teeth in one jaw with a fixed bridge supported by four implants, or by six when the bone allows. It is carried out at licensed clinics by implant surgeons and prosthodontists. It is usually considered when most teeth in a jaw are missing or cannot be saved, or when a removable denture is uncomfortable.

The process starts with a CT scan of the jaws. The doctor gives a preliminary opinion, and we send a written estimate before you travel. In many cases a temporary fixed bridge is attached within a few days of surgery, if the implants are stable enough. The permanent bridge is usually made on a second trip after several months of healing. We organise transfers, accommodation and an interpreter for each visit.

Who it may suit

  • People who have lost most or all teeth in one or both jaws
  • Those whose remaining teeth cannot be saved because of advanced gum disease or decay
  • People who find a removable denture uncomfortable or unstable
  • Patients with enough bone in the areas the doctor plans to use, or for whom bone grafting is possible
  • Patients whose general health allows implant surgery, as uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking and some bone medicines may mean the plan has to wait

How the procedure is organised

  1. 1
    Review of your CT scan

You send a CT scan of both jaws, a panoramic X-ray and information about your health. The implant surgeon gives a preliminary opinion on whether four or six implants may be suitable, and we prepare a written estimate.

  2. 2
    Consultation and planning in Baku

The doctor examines your mouth, repeats imaging if needed and plans the position of each implant. You discuss the shape of the future teeth, and blood tests or other checks are arranged when your health requires them.

  3. 3
    Surgery day

Teeth that cannot be saved are removed and the implants are placed, usually under local anaesthesia, sometimes with sedation or general anaesthesia as the doctors decide. An interpreter is available throughout.

  4. 4
    Temporary bridge

If the implants are stable enough, a temporary fixed bridge is usually attached within a few days. If not, the doctor may recommend another plan, for example a removable temporary denture during healing.

  5. 5
    Healing period at home

The implants fuse with the bone over several months. During this time you eat soft food, follow the hygiene instructions and send photos or X-rays when the doctor asks for them.

  6. 6
Permanent bridge on the second trip

After healing, the doctor checks the implants and takes impressions or a scan for the permanent bridge. It is fitted and adjusted over several visits, and you receive care instructions and a plan for regular check-ups.

What the cost depends on

The cost of a full-arch restoration depends on the number of implants, the implant system, the materials of the temporary and permanent bridges and whether extractions or bone grafting are needed. The estimate covers both stages of treatment. After the doctor reviews your CT scan, we send you a written estimate before you travel, so you know what is included.

  • Number of implants and the implant system
  • Temporary bridge after surgery
  • Material of the permanent bridge
  • Extractions, bone grafting or sinus lift, if needed
  • Accommodation for both trips

Recovery and the trip home

  • Swelling and discomfort are common in the first days and usually ease within a week with the medicines the doctor prescribes.
  • Soft food is recommended for the first months while the implants fuse with the bone, and the doctor explains when you can return to a normal diet.
  • Careful daily cleaning under the bridge and regular check-ups help protect the implants and gums in the long term.
  • Flying home is usually possible a few days after the temporary bridge is attached, but the doctor makes the decision after a check-up.

Frequently asked questions

How much does All-on-4 cost in Baku?

The cost depends on the number of implants, the implant system, the bridge materials and whether extractions or bone grafting are needed. After the doctor reviews your CT scan, we send you a written estimate covering both stages before you travel. This way you know in advance what is included.

Is it really all teeth in one day?

Many patients receive a temporary fixed bridge on the day of surgery or within a few days, but only if the implants are stable enough. The permanent bridge is made after healing, usually on a second trip. The doctor decides what is possible in your case after the examination.

What is the difference between four and six implants?

With four implants the back ones are often placed at an angle to make use of the available bone. Six implants may spread the load more widely when there is enough bone. The doctor recommends the option after studying your CT scan.

What if I do not have enough bone?

The All-on-4 approach often helps to avoid bone grafting, but it is not suitable for everyone. Sometimes bone grafting or another approach is needed, which can lengthen treatment. The doctor explains the options after reviewing your CT scan.

How long is the break between the two trips?

Usually several months, while the implants heal and fuse with the bone. The exact timing depends on bone quality and your health. The doctor sets the date of the second trip, and we help you plan it.
