Hollywood smile in Baku
A complete makeover of the visible teeth in both arches with veneers or crowns, designed together with your dentist.
Typical figures. The exact plan is confirmed by the treating doctor after the medical review.
A Hollywood smile in Baku is a complete makeover of the visible teeth in both the upper and lower arch, carried out at licensed dental clinics. Depending on the condition of each tooth, the dentist may use veneers, crowns or a combination, made of ceramic or zirconia, and sometimes implants where teeth are missing. The aim is a harmonious smile that suits your face, not simply the whitest possible teeth.
Planning starts with photos of your smile and a panoramic X-ray. The dentist gives a preliminary opinion, and we send a written estimate before you travel. Gums and decay are treated first, and the work is usually done in two trips with a gap set by the dentist, or in one longer stay. MedAzerbaijan is a coordinator, not a clinic, so we arrange transfers, accommodation and an interpreter.
Who it may suit
- Adults who want to change the shape, shade and proportions of many teeth at once
- People with several worn, chipped, discoloured or previously restored teeth
- Those with old crowns or fillings that no longer match and need replacing
- Patients with healthy gums or those ready to treat gum disease first
- People who grind their teeth and agree to a protection plan with a night guard if the dentist advises it
How the procedure is organised
-
1
Assessment of your photos and X-ray
You send photos of your smile from several angles, a panoramic X-ray and details of earlier dental work. The dentist gives a preliminary opinion on veneers, crowns or other options, and we prepare a written estimate so that you can decide without pressure.
-
2
Examination and smile planning in Baku
The dentist examines the teeth, gums and bite and takes photos and a digital scan or impressions. A digital design of the new smile and a trial mock-up in the mouth may be offered, so that you can see the proposed shape before any tooth is prepared.
-
3
Treatment of gums and decay
Gum inflammation, caries and leaking fillings are treated before the aesthetic work, and root canal treatment is done where needed. If gum disease is active, the makeover is postponed until the gums are healthy.
-
4
Preparation and temporary restorations
Under local anaesthesia the teeth are prepared according to the plan, and temporary veneers or crowns are fitted. They let you try the shape, length and comfort in daily life while the laboratory makes the final restorations.
-
5
Final restorations and bite check
On the second trip, or later in the same stay, the dentist tries in the final veneers or crowns, checks the colour, fit and bite and fixes them. A follow-up visit allows small corrections before you fly home.
-
6
Care and protection at home
You receive written care instructions and a list of the materials used. If you grind your teeth, the dentist may make a night guard to protect the restorations, and we pass your later questions to the dentist.
What the cost depends on
The cost of a full smile makeover depends on the number of teeth, the choice between veneers and crowns, the material and any treatment of gums, decay or roots beforehand. Implants, if needed, are planned separately. After the dentist reviews your photos and X-ray, we send a written estimate before you travel, showing what is included.
- Number of teeth in the upper and lower arch
- Veneers, crowns or a combination, and the material chosen
- Digital smile planning, mock-up and laboratory work
- Treatment of gums, caries or root canals beforehand
- Accommodation for one or two trips, for you and a companion
Recovery and the trip home
- There is no hospital stay, and most people go back to their usual activities on the same day.
- Teeth may react to cold and heat for some days after preparation, and this usually settles without treatment.
- It often takes a few days to get used to the new shape of the teeth, and the dentist corrects the bite if something feels uneven.
- You can usually fly home once the dentist has checked the final bite, and regular hygiene visits at home help keep the restorations in good condition.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Hollywood smile cost in Baku?
The cost depends on how many teeth are restored, whether veneers or crowns are chosen, the material and any treatment needed first. After the dentist reviews your photos and X-ray, we send a written estimate before you travel, so you know in advance what is included.
Will I need veneers or crowns?
Veneers cover the front surface and usually suit teeth that are healthy but need a new shape or shade. Crowns cover the whole tooth and are often chosen for heavily filled, root treated or broken teeth. Many makeovers combine both, and the dentist explains the choice for each tooth.
How white will my teeth be?
The shade is chosen together with you. Very white shades look striking but may seem less natural, while slightly warmer shades blend better with the face and skin tone. A mock-up and temporary restorations help you judge the result before the final work is made.
Is one trip enough, or do I need two?
Often the first trip covers the examination, treatment of gums and decay, preparation and temporary restorations, and the second covers fitting of the final work after a gap set by the dentist. Some patients prefer one longer stay instead. The dentist confirms the plan after the consultation.
Can I have a Hollywood smile if I have gum disease or grind my teeth?
Gum disease has to be treated and under control first, because restorations placed next to inflamed gums may not last and can look worse over time. Heavy grinding does not always rule out treatment, but it needs a plan, often a night guard and sometimes a different material. The dentist decides after the examination.
